DESCRIPTION:Online Symposium (via Microsoft Teams) — 5 March 2026\nOrganized by the Center for Innovation in Ancient Worlds (CIAW)\, with the support of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). \nThis symposium invites proposals on how neurodiversity (ADHD\, autism\, dyslexia\, and other cognitive profiles) can reshape the ways we teach and learn about the Ancient World—through inclusive design\, creative and sensory methods\, and responsible uses of AI. \n\nNeurodiversity & inclusive design in higher education\nAI tools & assistive technologies for neurodivergent learners\nCreative/sensory approaches to Ancient History & Classics\nAssessment & participation beyond neurotypical standards\nEmotional/cognitive engagement with ancient material culture\nCase studies from courses\, museums\, or outreach projects\n\nSubmission: Send a 250–300 word abstract + 100-word bio to carlos.heredia@uab.cat by 15 November 2025. \nPublication: Selected papers will be considered for AI & Antiquity: Journal of Teaching and Technology in Ancient Studies (September 2026 issue).
