Premodern Disability is a resource aggregator for those who study disability in the medieval and early modern periods. While we are academics—teaching faculty and scholars in the humanities—we hope the content collected here will also appeal to students, arts practitioners, and those who are curious about the field of Disability Studies.
At present we are compiling a cross-period, cross-disciplinary calendar. We welcome event notices, publication announcements, employment listings, calls for papers, and other submissions.
As Premodern Disability grows, we will add resources including bibliographies, pedagogical materials, and Premodern Disability Guides to Conferences. If you have suggestions for other features, we hope you’ll contact us.
