Deadline: Disability History Association Publication Awards – Book and Chapter/Article

The Disability History Association is accepting submissions for its 2026 outstanding publication awards!

The deadline for the Outstanding Book Award is May 15, 2026. The DHA welcomes monographs and edited collections with significant historical content, provided the book is new, original scholarship and published in English. The award is open to authors writing across all geographic areas and time periods whose book was first published between January 1 and December 31, 2025. The deadline for the Outstanding Article or Book Chapter Award is May 15, 2026. The DHA welcomes journal articles and books chapters with significant historical content across all geographic areas and time periods. The publication must be in English, with first publication taking place between January 1 and December 31, 2025.
